Response Boat – Medium 45

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A new 45-foot Response Boat-Medium (RB-M) passes by the Washington Monument on the Potomac River during a capabilities demonstration, Sept. 24, 2008. The RB-M, which is replacing the Service’s aging 41-foot response boats, introduces enhanced marine capabilities and technology advances, including advanced water jet propulsion, armrest integrated steering and trim control, self-righting capabilities and crew accommodations.
